Rooted in the red clay soil of Red Mountain and the soul of Manitou Springs, Manitou Mud™ Soap captures the grounding energy and herbal essence of our original SALUS® location. This bar is a tribute to place and spirit—"Manitou" meaning "spirit"—and it brings that connection to life through a uniquely earthy, aromatic blend.
Infused with natural red clay, this bar helps gently detoxify and exfoliate, while a refreshing blend of rosemary, cornmint, tea tree, and patchouli essential oils offers a clean, herbal scent that’s clarifying, grounding, and invigorating all at once. It’s a walk through the winding streets of Manitou, in bar form.
Like all SALUS® soaps, Manitou Mud™ is handcrafted using cold process techniques and plant-based, cruelty-free ingredients. Colorado sunflower oil delivers deep nourishment, while organic shea butter softens and hydrates. Red clay adds a gentle purifying touch without stripping your skin’s natural balance.

We offer $5 flat-rate shipping on U.S. orders over $59. Shipping costs for orders under $59 are calculated at checkout. SALUS® ships within the United States, including APO/FPO military addresses, otherwise SALUS does not ship outside of the USA.
We accept returns up to 14 days after delivery, if the item is unused and in its original condition, and we will refund the full order amount minus the shipping costs for the return.
